Does anyone know a bluegrass band that would like to contribute thier time of 1 hour to a local Historical Cause? We are in need of a band to perform at the Adamson Cabin grounds in Mt Vernon, MO on May 17th, 2014 between noon and 3. This is our second annual event to benefit this amazing Historical site. It's good old time down home people, and the location could't be any better than this 1858 original cabin. Please help us locate someone who would be interested...we promise to feed you and show you our southern hospitality..if you would like more information, please email. Thank you!!!

Howdy Fellow Bluegrass Enthusiasts, I am an intermediate mandolin player and vocalist. My family moved from So. California a couple years ago and we have been enjoying the bluegrass and folk music jams here. My daughter Casey Ritchie has been playing clasical violin since she was four. At 15 years old, she still plays with several distinguished symphonies but has taken up the fiddle style of playing and has competed in a few fiddle contests. She also plays with Backyard Bluegrass. It would be great for us to become more connected in the bluegrass world. We live near Ava, Mo.
